I was happy to buy this contraption to try and reduce my electricity use, but it seems to be a piece of junk. I followed all instructions, and the unit seems to have charged up fine, but when connected to my phone (with the CORRECT connection),... *nothing*. I've tried several times, but the phone doesn't state that it is being charged.

I hooked it up to the boyfriend's phone, and while at least his is recognized, the charge lasted for about 5 minutes. What a piece of junk.
