| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Always noticeable design, clear shapes and good sound are the distinctive features of Icetech's ECHO line of speakers. With the i9188C you also get a built-in FM radio with auto-scan, as well as a romantic blue LED light. The i9188C can be used on your desk or anywhere around the house as a personal audio speaker system. Thirteen Watts (RMS) of clear strong sound (25 Watts PMPO) make it a perfect choice for a home or office 2.1 multimedia speaker set. FM radio adds variety to your listening options, and a unique design together with LED lights make it a noticeable accessory that adds extra style to your environment.

Worse product ever, but helpful customer service. September 16, 2008 Daniel Blackman (Gainesville, Fl) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would like to preface my review by first explaining that I am not a sound expert. So this was pretty much the worse product ever. When I got it out of the box, one of the speakers was rendered useless because of the speaker jacks was not working. I am not a big fan of only one speaker working. Maybe I set my expectations too high. The radio on it worked alright, but the subwoofer was producing sounds in the mid range level. I am not subwoofer expert, but I was always under the impression they should be producing lows. Once again, maybe I set my expectations too high. When I plugged the computer speakers into my computer (that was suppose to be read in a sarcastic tone), the only "working" speaker produced enough volume to be considered a low end headphone speaker. I don't think it would look good as a headphone speaker. So I never got a chance to really hear the speakers in full capacity because they never worked! I then contacted the seller and I said that I would want to either be refunded or sent a new set of speakers. They opted to refund my money. Although I appreciate the seller doing this, it does not show full confidence that this was a fluke. I am sure I am not the first with this problem. Save your money and time and don't order this product. Spend the extra bit of money and upgrade.
not for jammers July 18, 2008 mased (dallas, tx) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These speakers are fine but the bass is weak and they dont get all that loud, for those of us who like to jam!! The led lights are a cool feature and the system does look neat but that can't make up for the lack of volume/bass. If you like listening at lower levels and dont need the bass to thump then get this. If you want something that is gonna rock out then look elsewhere!
