Product Description FR150 Microlink is solar-powered, self-powered AM/FM/weatherband portable radio with flashlight and cell phone charger. This ultra-portable device is ideal to have on hand when you're roughing it. It also makes a great addition to any emergency-preparedness kit. No plugs or wires are required. Instead, turn the hand crank to power the Microlink, or capture the sun's energy and run it on solar power. You'll always know what's going on, thanks to the AM, FM and weather bands. You can also tune in to the FCC and EAS public alert systems. Add the flashlight, the cell phone charger and you've got one versatile little device.

Everyone on my Christmas list is getting one this year! November 8, 2009 V. R. Pierson III (Hollywood, FL USA) I purchased this product two years ago and not a month goes by I don't use it. Living in South Florida, storms crop up all the time. A minute of cranking and setting it on the NOAA station, I am immediately informed as to what is going on and what to expect. The reception inside my house is wonderful. I use it as my main radio in the house. I use the strap to hang this radio/flashlight on my kitchen wall next to the light switch making it very handy, as we have frequent power outages.
The unit I purchased was produce with the Red Cross with $.49-$1 being contributed to the American Red Cross with each sale. There is also an "Eco Edition" model that a contribution is made to OhRanger.com, that supports our National Parks. For more information on these contributions, you can go to: [...]/
No cell phone adapter sent November 7, 2009 woohoo22 (Boston, MA USA) The radio and flashlight functions work well, but it was also advertised as being a cell phone charger. I filled out and sent in all the required paperwork to get the cell phone adapter from the company over 6 months ago, but never received anything from them. It would have been better to just buy a cheaper model and forget about the phone charger.
A Nice Surprise August 4, 2009 Makers Bake I bought this for my grandmother because she said she really wanted to put an earthquake kit together being that we all live in California.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality. It looks kind of chintzy in the picture but it's really solid and has a nice feel to it.
Seems to work great and grandma can handle it easily. I am going to buy one for everyone in the family for Christmas since it is also so affordable.
It eton radio July 9, 2009 Robert Levin (Overbrook Hills, PA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The replacement radio, #2, failed after 2 weeks of enjoyable listening. I am discusted with this item. I was so looking forward to this radio.
Seems to do the job July 9, 2009 I got this product for my father for Father's Day. He loves these all-in-one gadgets. The Solar energy works perfect, the radio was the first thing I tested. The crank works well and the LED is pretty bright.
I didn't really understand how to work the cell phone charger, there weren't solid instructions, but then again I only spent a total of 5 minutes testing the thing out before I wrapped it up.
The way I see it, the two most important things a person would need from a gadget, should there be a black out, are a radio and a flashlight. That's exactly what this little thing does.
