ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH November 11, 2009 Shadow (Latchford, On., Canada) Want to get better value for your buck than spending it on the car fan? Simple. Get in your car, go to the nearest garage/bookstore, get a map, find the nearest bridge and throw your money over the side.
Noisy and your car may get stolen June 23, 2009 R. Al-Ballaa (Saudi Arabia) The device is not well built and the rubber thing they give you to protect the cracked open window is worthless and you can put your figures into the window easily, and because of that, the noise while driving is like if you have an opened window.
The cup holder gift is nice and was worth what I paid though,

Works in the right conditions February 18, 2009 Ike Ray 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
First off, it seemed like a bandwagon effect of reviews, this product is definitely better than a 1...I'd say a good average would be 2-3 not 1's, but again bandwagon effect.
My review is definitely a 4-5, under the right condition it really helps! It would be best to combine this with 2 other products as well as tint (optional). Firstly, use a sunshield on the windshield, it'll help reflect the bulk of heat. secondly, window visors, it allows for the window to be cracked open (opened slightly) without anyone noticing. With those 2 in place, I put this item in the back driver side window.
I made a chart of a month, each week changing one thing, consistent temperature outside throughout the month of 90* outside. First week was nothing, temperature in the car when I got into it at around 5pm every day was well in the 125* farenheit, once or twice breaking the 130's. then I just used a sunshield, temperature dropped slightly, but still green house effect, temperature was 115*. then I cracked the windows (visors installed) and the temperature dropped again, 110*. finally, last week I used this, AND the outside temperature average climbed this week to 93*, temperature in car average for week was 100*. this is NOT bad considering the difference.
like I said, with the combination of 2 other items it makes a HUGE difference, a 25* difference. if you are parking your car in a sunny location day in and day out, this as well as window visors and a sun shield should help alleviate the heat.
Spend your money on something else! August 13, 2008 Lea Brown (San Carlos, California United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Unfortunately couldn't write a review without at least giving this thing one star - more than it deserves. Thought this was a great idea and stupidly bought into the advertising. Our car was still HOT, HOT, HOT after using this thing so ... park in the shade if you can! This does not work!!
