Read this book if you want to be informed on some of the most important issues concerning the current environmental crisis. More importantly, read this book if you want to learn about REAL solutions to REAL problems. This book is filled with engaging anecdotes, reliable hard hitting facts, and plenty of humor. As a young reader who has just begun to think through some of these issues, John Addison provides a wonderful book that is both fascinating and enlightening.
We all want to do something about the world's environmental problems. This book is a great place to start!
Must Read for "What Can I do?" March 6, 2009 Thomas L. Bartley (San Diego, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've known John Addison for several years after working with him and I had the opportunity to read a draft copy of the book. He prides himself on researching his subject matter. Save Gas, Save the Planet is full of stories about how people now move about and how they will choose their transportation of the future. I gained many insights about real people solving real problems, even though I have years of experience with transportation systems and with hybrid vehicle design.
