I bought this tent yesterday and was really excited about it. I was keeping my nieces, ages 5 and 11, and thought that they would have a wonderful time playing in this with my two children, ages 2 and 11 months. I did see that it was recommended for ages 3 and up, but usually most toys are for any age as long as they are properly supervised. I set it up while everyone was taking thier nap and could not wait for them to get up. I was surprised at how big it was and how easy it was to put together. When they got up they ran into the living room to see this big tent and tunnel in the middle of the floor and were really excited. I joy quickly turned to fear. My two kids had both played in tents before, but the bottom of the tent is made out of tarp like material and did not stay on our floor very well. It just bulged up which worried me for my 11 month old. He doesn't walk yet only crawls and it kept getting in his face. They really did have more fun in the tunnel, crawling in and out, but then my daughter, who is usually good about playing with her little brother, tried to flip him out. After that I took it down andput it away. I returned it later last night. It really is a very good toy and it seemed to be durable, but this is really a toy for older kids. I will most likely buy it again when they are older.
