This light does exactly what it says it will do. You have to follow the directions and not turn it on for 3 days of sunlight. After the 3 days, i turned it on and adjusted the sensor, it has been working perfectly ever since. It is not the brightest light, but serves my purpose effectively. I have it shining down my driveway and it lights up nicely. Bottom line is if you don't need a really bright light, then this one works great.

Since this is solar powered the light will only give you about 30 mins of strong light. The beam works great for my driveway as it projects an eight foot beam. I bought two. Be sure to wrap the box with a couple of plastic shopping bags as it is not weather proof.

Going into November I realize that this light will not work for 6 months out of the year in the lower Hudson Valley. Does this market really need to try to sell their product where it doesn't work to get a foothold?
I'm returning mine shortly. I was impressed with the unit's brightness, but the fact that it now works only 1 minute a night (now that it's November 7th and it's on the 5 minute setting) is enough to say adios. The fact that the user manual mentions that the panel works at an efficiency of 10% suggests that this is likely to be what happens when newer more efficient panels come on the market and no one wants the old ones anymore.
Either this company needs to update their panels or make them bigger. Also, the positioning joints are weak. They should be teethed to hold the weight of the light when you have a spot you point it at, otherwise mine droops due to the wind.

Easy to install takes three days to fully charge the battery before turing it on. Works great. Bright but not blaring which is fine for me. Time of course will tell if it has a long battery life. The senor adusts and it goes on quickly when movement detected. Has good range. Bought mine at Home Depot for about same price. It's been through rain storms and works in the rain. I have had 17 months now with zero problems.
