Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Great when they worked   November 10, 2008
John L. Ottaviano (CSH, NY USA)
Bought two of these lamps and they were great while they worked (about two to three weeks). There is a problem with the photosensor and now they don't come on. Customer service was very nice and said they would replace them, but it has been two months and several emails since that promise. They are literally "on a slow boat from China".

3 out of 5 stars Good & Bad   October 6, 2008
Peaches (East Coast, USA)
I have bought a few of these lamps and it is hit or miss. When you get a good one, it's great. When you get a bad one, it's bad. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a good one the first time. I have returned 3 and had replacements and I still have problems with 1 of the new ones. It's all to do with the sensor not registering that it's dark enough to turn on. I do have to say that the customer service to get the returns/replacements done was wonderful. So thumbs up for the service part, kinda-sorta for the product.

1 out of 5 stars Mine has a bad swith, worked one night   July 14, 2008
John
It was bought as a gift from Costco, it worked one night. Now I can play with the on /off swith and sometimes get it to flicker. I don't have the reciept nor a Costco near me. Guess I'll try to track down a customer service number to see if they will supply a new micro switch.

4 out of 5 stars Great for a balcony   June 19, 2008
Billie Ryder
I actually bought this at Costco. We set it up around noon and that same night, the light came on. The light probably sits in full sunlight for 7 or 8 hours every day. The light is sufficient to read by or even play a board game but it is not the same as a lamp run by electricity. It casts a soft blue glow that is a little romantic.

So far works great although we had only had it for a week.
