The one I received is frosted not clear and even that has blemishes (box says energy film 36X48) unfortunately I did not open it till now so its out of warranty, I have ordered these in the past and never had a problem so I don't know what happened this appears to be from a different manufacturer, so be sure if you order open the box and check it, unfortunately you will not be able to tell what you have until you actually open the bag an remove some of the backing

We have an upstairs window that gets a lot of sun during the day and causes that room to get noticeably hotter than others. I've noticed a difference since installing this film, and now the room is the same temperature as the other upstairs rooms -- not hotter. The film is really easy to apply, just sticks on with water (can't make it any easier). It is a little bit of a pain to cut, but you don't have to be exact, and so it's still relatively easy to do. I'm not sure if I'll get my money back from energy savings from the purchase or not, but it definitely does help, and it has made our upstairs room more comfortable. You can't really see the film on the window, so it looks great installed, and I would purchase this again if I had another large sun-facing window.
