4 out of 5 stars Very Good!   December 30, 2007
Suzy K. (Michigan)
I LOVE my Freeplay radio and flashlight. The light from the flashlight is bright and widespread without any circles, and it feels very comfortable in my hand, so it's easy to crank. The radio picks up a lot of stations and they come in very clearly. I especially like the weather band when there's threatening weather. I like to use the radio in the yard because I can carry it with me as I move around instead of having a radio blasting from the back porch so I can hear it at the back of the yard. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate that. I like the fact that you can use the crank or plug them in to charge. I especially like the fact that I can leave the flashlight on all night as a nightlight during a power outage and not feel like I'm wasting batteries. I wish I'd had this set when the power was out for four days last winter. Four stars because the light on the radio doesn't stay charged. They might as well not have even included it.
