When he was just 14 years old, Malawian inventor William Kamkwamba built his family an electricity-generating windmill from spare parts, working from rough plans he found in a library book. Kamkwamba keeps a blog<\/a> about his energy adventure and he has become something of an internet sensation since Boing Boing picked up on his story.<\/p>\n

He was also invited to one of the prestigious TED interviews. Kamkwamba, now 19, tells TED Curator Chris Anderson, his inspiring story. We wish him all the best for his future.<\/p>\n

To paraphrase that saying about will power, ‘where there’s will…there can be a wind mill’. <\/p>\n
