It is a charger that uses Solar Energy to charge batteries or power up devices.<\/p>\n<p>It does have a Lithium Io Battery so you can use it when there is no light.  It has a built in light that can be used as a flashlight.  <\/p>\n<p>You can use it to charge your Cellular phone, CD player, MP3 Player, etc.  It seems unable to recharge USB based devices because, its current it rated under 250 MA.
