According to NASA it is 25% less than the levels of 2005.  The area of perennial ice (ice that never melts even in summer) has steadily decreased by 10% per decade.  However, in 2007 they reached a level 38% lower than the climatological average.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It is a reality that we will start experiencing changes in the climate.  The sea current can change, changing the rain patterns across the globe.
