The cold season is arriving and we tend to consume more electricity at this time of the year. But there are ways to avoid that and save you some money and offset your carbon footprint.<\/p>\n

My personal advice is to exercise. An exercised body needs less artificial heating around it and will be more resistant to winter maladies such as colds and flu. You will instinctively lower the meter when your body is generally active. Speaking of exercises, there’s still time to catch one of the American Solar Energy Society’s tours. You get the chance of visiting the solar powered homes and buildings on guided tours, find out more the technology and get inspired.
