He may well be called the ‘king of recycling’. Meet Michael Reynolds, an eco-warrior who for thirty years now has been developing what he calls ‘Earthship Biotecture’ by building self-sufficient, off-the-grid communities where design and function converge in eco-harmony. Beer cans, car tires, water bottles. Everything can be used in Reynolds’ sustainable vision.<\/p>\n

Of course, there’s always government officials getting in the way. As these experimental structures defy state standards they create conflict between Reynolds and the authorities. But Reynolds and his crew are given a chance to prove their vision by mother nature itself when they apply their technique to help communities devastated by tsunamis and hurricanes. <\/p>\n

Shot over three years and in four countries, Garbage Warrior<\/a> will screen on Sundance Channel on April 01st.<\/p>\n
