And there are times when I actually read the Press Release for the sportscasters and writers.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what it said in <a href=\"http:\/\/presspass.mlb.com\/pp_viewer.asp?d=38252\">one release<\/a>: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Going Green: The Indians organization is taking Progressive Field green&#8230;In addition to the upper deck Solar Panels, the club is recycling all CARDBOARD, PLASTICS, ALUMINUM CANS &amp; MIXED PAPER used at the ballpark&#8230;Both the home and visiting clubhouses area also participating in the program for the first time&#8230;All vended cups used at Progressive Field are corn-starch based and decompose after 30 days after usage.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So how much trash is left at the end of each game that will not get recycled or will not decompose?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And more importantly, how much energy is getting recovered?  I am looking at their list of recycling and I see that glass is missing.  This is probably because they do not sell anything in glass.<\/p>\n<p>They even have a <a href=\"http:\/\/cleveland.indians.mlb.com\/news\/press_releases\/press_release.jsp?ymd=20080311&amp;content_id=2418650&amp;vkey=pr_cle&amp;fext=.jsp&amp;c_id=cle\">press release<\/a> about their recycling and their solar panels.
