London, Ontario<\/figcaption><\/figure>London in Ontario, Canada has attracted 200 renewable energy jobs with the building of a Samsung C&T solar modules manufacturing plant.

\nAccording to Canoe<\/a>, the job creation by the alternative energy<\/a> enterprise is welcome news, since the city currently has the highest unemployment rate in the country.<\/p>\n

London Mayor Joe Fontana said the city wants to move away from its auto-based economy to become a center of renewable energy and a leader in clean energy southwestern Ontario.<\/p>\n

There are concerns that a change of government could ruin the plant plans. But Samsung said that the factory will be built and is expected to be completed by 2012.<\/p>\n
