Tour participants will have the opportunity to learn about available incentives, different types of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.energyrefuge.com\/solar-articles.htm\" target=\"_blank\">solar power<\/a> technologies on the market today and, last but not least, how much money they can save.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is part of the non-profit American Solar Energy Society (ASES) National Solar Tour, the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s largest grassroots solar event. Last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s National Solar Tour attracted more than 150,000 people in 49 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. <\/p>\n<p>The City of San Jos\u00c3\u00a9 is one of the 25 designated Solar America Cities and it is partnering with several organizations to host this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s tour including: the U.S. Department of Energy, the ASES, local solar companies including Clean Solar, Freedom Solar, REC Solar and SunWize.<\/p>\n<p>Tour participants also will have the chance to take part of free tours of the San Jos\u00c3\u00a9 Green Vision Clean Energy Showcase. Located across the street from San Jos\u00c3\u00a9 City Hall, 200 E. Santa Clara Street between 4th and 5th Streets, the showcase is a hands-on demonstration of solar technologies and will be open from 9 am to 3 pm.
