The project was developed by <a href=\" http:\/\/www.saferay.com \" target=\"_blank\">saferay<\/a>, which is based in Berlin, while the plant occupies a former open pit mining area near Senftenberg in Eastern Germany.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nAccording to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalsolartechnology.com\" target=\"_blank\">Global Solar Technology magazine<\/a>, the 78 MW plant took three months to complete and will supply 25,000 households with electricity.
