We call on the Commission and the Presidency of the Council to\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 decide on legal mandates for binding 2030 renewables, CO2, and energy efficiency targets\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, the letter says.<\/p>\n<p>The EU has set a 20% reduction target for 2020, but there is no formal policy related to the period beyond that year.
