The biggest was <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hiroshima#World_War_II_and_atomic_bombing\" target=\"_blank\">Hiroshima<\/a>. Last year, 19,000 people died. In Hiroshima the death toll was 80,000 people on the day of the bombing.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The nuclear accident at Fukushima was the worst nuclear emergency since <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chernobyl_disaster\" target=\"_blank\">Chernobyl<\/a> and prompted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.energyrefuge.com\/blog\/germany-could-be-powered-mostly-by-wind\/\" target=\"_blank\">Germany <\/a>to phase out its nuclear power stations.<\/p>\n<p>But besides the energy issue, what happened to people in Japan and how are they coping in this post-tsunami scenario when hundreds of thousands people became homeless?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.onlineschools.org\" target=\"_blank\">OnlineSchools.org<\/a> has produced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onlineschools.org\/japan-one-year-later\/\" target=\"_blank\">an amazing video<\/a> to remember the first anniversary of the Tsunami in Japan, a mixture of animation and real footage.
