However, that may soon change if your opinion is based upon Japan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Yokohama.   Their plan proposes some 25 acres of new forest across 18 of their worldwide facilities (that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 500,000 trees for you number crunchers out there).<\/p>\n<p>Calling this effort the Forever Forest campaign, Yokohama plans to offset some of the environmental implications of industry through the trees which not only provide carbon dioxide to oxygen conversion but also aesthetic improvements to surrounding communities.<\/p>\n<p>As a bonus, the trees offer up a shady gathering area for employees in the event of an evacuation.
