Screenshot: EnergySaver<\/figcaption><\/figure>Sparing the environment and saving money has become a little bit easier. A new application designed for iOS and Android can help users reduce their carbon footprint by analysing their use of energy, water and gas.

EnergySaver<\/a> recognizes energy consumption habits and establishes which appliances use the most energy. It also identifies phantom loads<\/a>, which can account for 10 per cent of energy use in a house.<\/p>\n

The application can be customized for several homes and includes pre-populated consumption data for several electric, natural gas and water appliances and fixed and tiered average rates information for all 50 U.S. states.<\/p>\n

The overall objective of the application is, of course, saving energy, water and gas, which results in financial savings as well. The app is available from Apple Store<\/a> and Google Play <\/a>and it costs $2.99.<\/p>\n
