I just got back from an aunt and uncle’s 50th wedding anniversary where my sister gave people those Dryer Balls<\/a>. She says that she saves about 15 minutes with each load. <\/p>\n

I have yet to try them, but she believes in them enough to give out 4 pairs. They supposedly also reduce the need for fabric softener as well. (And who really wants to put wax on their clothes and them dump the excess into the sewer system anyway?)<\/p>\n

Yes, these balls are plastic, but I think they will pay for themselves in time if not energy. If I can reduce 15 minutes off of my drying time, it means that my week’s worth of laundry will be done 45 minutes earlier.<\/p>\n

For a large family it may mean the difference between getting the laundry done every week or just letting it pile up.<\/p>\n

I will report on how well it works for me as time goes by. But if my sister believes in them enough to pass them out as gifts, then they must be good.<\/p>\n
