Tomihisa Taue, Nagasaki&#8217;s current mayor, was born in 1956 and he remembers the eyewitness accounts of those who survived the bombings. For that reason he has become a campaigner for a nuclear-free world.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Taue is a leading figure in the Mayors for Peace movement and he takes wherever he can his city&#8217;s powerful message of nuclear disarmament.
