Called EFuel100 MicroFueler, it converts ingredients such as sugar, yeast and water into ethanol. According to the company, cars running on sugar-based ethanol produce 85% fewer carbon emissions than gasoline. <\/p>\n<p>The portable unit houses the same LCD touch screen interface and hose pumping system found at the corner gas station, so consumers can produce where they consume, eliminating energy waste. The retractable pumping hose extends up to 50 feet.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Henry Ford started the automobile revolution using ethanol, predicting that thus renewable and accessible fuel would become the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcfuel of the future\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, says Tom Quinn, E-Fyel founder and CEO. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153If not for the Prohibition laws in the 1920s and the subsequent rise of the oil industry, ethanol may never have lost its public appeal.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Shipments began in the fourth quarter of 2008 and the product is available in the United States, China, Brazil and the UK. <\/p>\n<p><!--adsense--><\/p>\n<h3 class='related_post_title'>Related Posts:<\/h3><ul class='related_post'><li>No Related Posts Found!
