The website says the device \u00e2\u20ac\u0153will help manufacturers take one step closer towards commercialization of hydrogen cars\u00e2\u20ac\u009d since \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Filling up a hydrogen car in 5 minutes while giving it a range of 300 miles are the goals of many manufacturers\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n<p>The heat exchanger is made mostly of aluminum with thin fins to disperse the heat. This kind of cooling system was developed over the past 2 years and will provide other researchers worldwide a leg up on continuing research and development of metal hydride storage solutions.<\/p>\n<p>It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s still early days, but Purdue University\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s cooling system sounds promising.
